Fine grounds, cozy rooms; really good staff service, but no A/C and slow breakfast service are minor concerns.

You got great value. The weather was beautiful, had really nice stay for an overnight business trip. The classic queen room I got was bright. Really enjoyed a bathtub in my en suite bathroom. This accommodation had a business setting in beautiful grounds....

staff were very helpful, room clean and served us well. Wonderful breakfast
Fire alarm going off (? set off) at 1.30am when trying to sleep. Noise from other guests on mobile outside our room at 1am! Room a bit cosy in size but all we needed was there

The grounds were stunning, with magnificent magnolia trees and lovely walking paths that really added to my experience. While the bathroom door was a bit difficult to deal with, the staff showed real kindness throughout my stay. It's a shame that breakfast wasn't included for the price we paid as it would have been a nice addition to our two-night stay.

being woken at 7am by builders and suddenly we were in a building site. perhaps some warning or some reduction in price during building work would be appropriate :-)

Unbelievable so-called service.
Upon arrival, this venue dazzled with its grandeur, yet the service fell flat. From lackluster room amenities to overpriced and poor-quality dining options, it felt more like a wedding assembly line than a luxury retreat. Though the enchanting gardens offered a glimpse of tranquility, it left me wanting much more from my stay.

The grounds were exceptional, the location very good and the breakfast was adequate.
On the negative side, the room was quite ordinary and the drinks were expensive.
